Peanut and Peekaboo

SnugBug was playing peekaboo the other day at breakfast.  She was done eating and all of a sudden she's putting her hands over her face and giggling.  I was glad I got these pictures!  And little Peanut is just being cute as usual  :)  Getting chubby too!

Ladybug's pretty hair....

 

 

Ladybug has beautiful hair; but because I'm no pro at taking care of super curly and somewhat dry hair, doing her hair can get a bit tricky for me.  Normally it's pulled up in a bun, but I did it a little different this morning.  She thought it was pretty cool  :)  

Family comes to town

Saturday hubby's family came into town for a visit.  They brought with them ALL of the food for the tasty meal we had, plus a sinfully delicious cake from an awesome bakery in town ( chocolate cake with raspberry cream filling... ).  The Bug Sisters were excited to have all the extra love and attention - they had a blast!  It took a while for Snuggle Bug to get used to everyone, but she did!  Snug Bug and our oldest "out of town" niece share the same name, they look a lot alike, and they even have similar personalities!!  How cute it was to see them together.  ( first photo below )  And our other niece took Ladybug outside to play, which Ladybug loved   :), though it was a little chilly out there; and she did Ladybug's hair too!  It was a great visit! And you wouldn't believe how much food we have left  :)   Below are some pictures from Saturday, and a few from Sunday morning. 

2nd Post of the Day....

I sometimes don't post anything for a while, and then on days like today I'm posting twice.  I've got some time right now, so I might as well. 

I gave Peanut his first taste of baby cereal this afternoon.  He made some funny faces at first, but then he actually kind of started to get it, and he stopped making the faces.  He had about 3 or 4 good spoonfuls.  It was very cute!  At least he's got the taste of it now.  I can't wait to try it again tomorrow :)

Snug Bug photos.....

Snuggle Bug will be 15 months old in about a week and a half.  She's doing really well, really starting to find her own little place in this family!  She's returning some of our affection lately by laying her head on our shoulder when we're holding her, which is so wonderful!  Here's some cute pics.

As told by Peanut....

Here I am doing "tummy time".....not my favorite thing to do.  I can only tolerate this position for so long before I start to complain.  Mama says I need to make my neck stronger, so I'm pacifying her by holding my head up so nicely for this photo.  Check me out!

But like I said, it's not too long before I need to take a break - like in the next couple photos!

Hey, I'm exhausted; what can I say!!

The next photo shows me chillin' out on my back checking out my toys, and my friend Dusty is sitting nearby.  When us kids are all taking our naps she sometimes sleeps right outside our bedroom doors.

And then there's my buddy Max who loves to find the warm sunny spots to sleep in....

That's all for now - I need a diaper change and my bottle soon  :)
